How reviews work

Every review is backed by a real event

No fake reviews. No anonymous opinions. Every review on EventConnective is permanently linked to a confirmed event with both parties on record.

Anatomy of a verified review

What a real one looks like

This is a specimen, not a live review. Every element below comes from the event record rather than from whoever is typing.

Booked them nine months out and they were in touch the whole way through. On the day everything ran exactly to the timeline we had agreed — no chasing, no surprises. Several guests asked me who we had hired.

Response from the professionalSep 2025

Thank you — it was a genuine pleasure. Congratulations again to you both.

  • The verified event banner

Event type, venue and date, taken from the event record rather than typed by the reviewer. It cannot be edited after the fact.

  • The chain ID

A permanent public reference for the event the review came from. Both the host and the professional can trace it.

  • A named, confirmed host

The reviewer is the host who created the event and confirmed the work. Not an anonymous handle, and not a stranger.

  • One public response

The professional may answer once, publicly, shown directly beneath. They cannot remove or amend the review itself.

What is impossible here

Three things that cannot happen

  • Buying a review

There is no path from money to a review. The chain requires a host-created event and two independent confirmations.

  • Deleting a bad one

A verified review is permanent. Professionals may publish one public response; they cannot remove or edit the review.

  • Reviewing a competitor

You can only review a professional you hired and confirmed. A rival has no route to leave one at all.
